Aloha!
My husband, MIL and I are on the big island of Hawaii, on a vacation that once again proves that "three's a crowd". What it lacks in romance it makes up for in aggravation. But, I keep drinking my patience juice (i.e. anything with alcohol), and brought my laptop and enough books for plenty of distraction.
Don't feel too sorry for me though: It's still Hawaii, it's warm and beautiful, and the patience juice is working wonders.
But then again, it's only day 2 - let's talk again in a week from now.
Dress: H&M (old; similar); sandals: Old Navy (old; similar); hat: bought on vacation (this one is so cute!); earrings: gift
Stay warm, wherever you are! And just in case you are not on vacation: at least it's Friday!
I just got back from vacation and your photos are making me want to go on another! Your chevron maxi dress is gorgeous! I like wearing dresses on vacations too :)

ReplyDeleteYou are so beautiful, by the way! I love the dress/earring combo you've got and of course there's a hat to go with it. La fashionista has landed in Hawaii!
And by the way, I'm totes stealing the use of "patience juice" - hilarious!

You look amazing! Patience juice is a miracle worker for sure. Hope your holiday gets better! Scott has been wanting to take me to Hawaii for years. Hopefully we will get there one day. ;)
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Abby! I missed you for my link-up, glad you're back. There is something about the warm breeze rustling your dress that feels so relaxing and summery!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Thanks so much Porcelina! Hawaii is drop-dead gorgeous, we love it. A perfect reason to wear all those clothes that have been banned to the back of the closet for so many months now - I like to let them out to play ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, you have to go there! It's our second time, we love this island. Not as crowded as Maui (the only other Hawaiian island we have been to), and the scenery is incredibly diverse: you will find black sand beaches, rolling hills that look like they come straight from the Little Hobbit-movie, eerie landscape that looks like it's from Jurassic Park, black lava rock, lush gardens - so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess! Maxi dresses are a gift to women, they are airy, flattering, and nobody can see when you skipped shaving your legs ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn Lucy! It's so gorgeous here, nothing can spoil our fun - and the juice works its magic beautifully haha
ReplyDeleteDo it! It really is gorgeous. A perfect 27℃ every day! I'll take lots of pictures to share on the blog 😎
ReplyDeleteI love that dress and the pictures look amazing. I love my MIL but definitely wouldn't want to bring her along on that vacation. Hopefully you and hubby will get a little bit of alone time :-)
ReplyDeleteAhh I'm so jealous! I have always wanted to visit Hawaii! Enjoy a few drinks for me! :)
ReplyDeleteWill do! 🍹🍹
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! We have found our rhythm now, and it's working pretty well! The laid-back island attitude is contagious, and gives us all a relaxed state of mind.
ReplyDeleteHave a relaxing weekend!
Beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks Isabel 😍
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty in that beautiful dress :) x
ReplyDeleteThe backdrop helps too, it's so beautiful. Thanks Jasey Jade!
