A few favourite things

There are lots of little pleasures in the world. The small things that make life worth living.

Here are a few that made my day today:
1. A picnic lunch inside with sweet fresh strawberries, caprese salad, and fresh, soft baguette.
2. Grapefruit ale on the campfire. You HAVE to try this beer, it's so delicious, it really tastes like 
    grapefruit! SO good. Plus new lime-green "Dawgs" (The Canadian Crocs, a farm summer
    essential).
3. Wild pigeons that chose to make our home their home.
4. New duck babies. Matilda, our Muscovy duck sneakily built a nest in the barn underneath a
    hanging cage (unbeknownst to us) and hatched 5 beautiful babies yesterday. They are now living
    below our trampoline.
5. Pretty white blossoms on our Styrax next to the house.
6. A single gorgeous red rose.
