July was a whirlwind. Lots of stuff has happened, with the big reveal at the end of the month.
But let's start at the beginning, shall we?
On July 3, my mother-in-law arrived for a three-week visit.
While it isn't always easy to live with your elderly relative, we had a great time.
She looks so cute with the dog filter! Her comment: "Why is my nose black?"
Plus, she bonded with Lily. Anyone who does is my friend.
I finished watching Orange is The New Black, my favourite show. Finishing a show is always sad, and leaves you unbalanced and unsure of what to do next. I wrote an article about The ladies of Litchfield, and it was published by Thought Catalog!
We witnessed this amazing transformation:

Thank you all so much for being so supportive and excited for us as we embark on this new adventure! It's a huge step for us, but one we feel really good about. Always one on the lookout for signs when I'm about to make a decision, there have been many that I interpret as telling us that we are meant to do this.
I haven't been that excited since I decided to move to Canada 13 years ago, and that didn't turn out too badly ;-)
I also filmed a second every day, a project I'm still enjoying tremendously.
