Baby boom, continued

Baby season is here in full force! Both our incubators are fully stocked and running, and we have a lot of feathery moms sitting on nests everywhere.
Richard is away for two days so I'm officially in charge. Eeeks! Always a bit nerve-wracking.



A bucket of chicken (but no worries, these cuties won't be eaten, they are layers)

I love watching the little chicks, ducklings and goslings. They really are like real human babies in the beginning, not doing much, just sleeping huddled up together in this big fluff ball, eating and pooping. That's the life!



So fluffy!



Well, I better go outside and take care of my furry and feathery animal kids.
