The power of red

Do you have a favourite colour? I like the warm, rich colours of the sunset: all shades of pink, orange, and red. 

I love to dress in red. However, red is not for the meek, don't-look-at-me-days; red is for the days when you want the world to notice you. It makes you look powerful, confident, and sexy. The great thing is, that just by putting on a red dress, you will start to feel much more confident, even if you didn't before! Red has great powers.

I already have quite the collection of red dresses: a mini chevron-dress; a sweater dress; a below-the-knee swing dress; a lace dress;  and a body-hugging, sexy little velvet number. 

But one thing was missing in my closet: A glamorous evening gown. Now, I don't lead the kind of life where one has the occasion to wear evening gowns often. Or ever, really. 

But I like to have fun with fashion, and once in a while I will purposely overdress. My plan for this dress? When (not if!) we finally sell our place, I will put on this beauty, take my handsome husband, and drink expensive champagne in a fancy bar. I cannot wait. 

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the best part: The price of the dress: US$28.59. How could I say no?
