3 months roadtrip

If you could take three months off from your current life and do anything in the world, what would you do?

That's my answer to today's Blogtember question.

I love roadtrips. You can travel at your own pace, go wherever you want, stop whenever you want. To me it's the ultimate adventure!

Where would I wanna go?

That's on my bucket list. And it's doable in 3 months, right? We could skip Hawaii, already went there, and it's kinda difficult to drive there anyway.

We did an amazing trip in 2007 (6 years ago, craziness!) where we traveled through 10 states in the US. We saw bison (Yellowstone park), went to a party where we met a soldier who had served in Iraq, and fell in love with Moab, a little desert town in Utah.

I would take my husband Richard, a couple of the dogs, and then, since it's my fantasy, the horses as well. We would strap our camper on to the truck and off we go!

What we would do:
Having breakfast in cute little coffee shops - or outside in the desert; going hiking in Arches National Park; participating in mardi gras in New Orleans; discovering little dive bars and hanging out with the locals; drinking sweet tea on a porch down south.

I would take lots and lots of pictures and blog about it, and then write a book about our adventures, get rich and famous...

.... oops, took it too far.
