I am copying this idea from a couple other bloggers who have both done an amazing job in 2013: Danielle from 'Underland to Wonderland' and Allison from 'The Curious Cupcake'. They are both professional photographers, so their photos are really, really good. Go and have a look!
My new Canon Rebel SL1 is a wonder to me. So far I'm mainly clicking and shooting, but the image quality is about a million times better than with my old camera. I'm in photography heaven! Add to that my new baby Lily who I cannotstoptakingpicturesof, and you have a match made in heaven - or hell, depending on your perspective. I am restraining myself from flooding instagram with Corgi pictures, but this blog is fair game!
There is a tab on top called 365 project which is where I will post them. I am super-duper stoked!
Here are a few more pictures from our New Year's photo shoot:
"Auntie Steph, I love my presents!"
Daddy-daughter love.
I hope you all had a spectacular NYE! I had zero alcohol which is a first - no hangover on January 1 is a nice change. Aaahh the benefits of working.
Here's to a kick-ass 2014!
xoxo Miriam
Doesn't a nice camera make such a HUGE difference?? And I think that's a great resolution for the New Year! Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat resolution! I really want to get a better camera this year. Your new pup is soooo adorable!
ReplyDeleteI can't recommend the Rebel SL1 enough. It is pretty easy to figure out, there are a ton of great settings, and the image quality is amazing. I won't tackle the manual setting just yet, but I have a feeling once that's mastered the possibilities are endless!
DeleteWe love our puppy, she's a handful but SO cute!
Oh my goodness ... Lily is adorable! She must make you laugh all day long. I find that having a pet certainly ups the photos taken around here, so assume she will do the same for you in helping you achieve your photography goal for 2014.
ReplyDeleteShe sure does, what a goof!
DeleteSo far she's very inspiring, the real challenge will be to photograph other things besides her haha :-)
She is one cute corgi! Have fun with the challenge :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary!
DeleteYou puppy is adorable. Have you browsed the pics on the blog The Nectar Collective ? The writer there has an adorable corgi named Monja.
