Photography challenge, 12 days in

Happy Sunday!
It's a good news/bad news scenario here: good news that we both feel better! Finally!! I actually missed work, and was really happy to go back yesterday.
Bad news: the weather is dismal. Pouring rain, everything is flooded. Quite depressing. Well, more playtime with puppy! She is a pure delight, I love her more every day. And, of course, like any proud mom, I think that she's really smart. We are practising "sit" and "down", and yesterday she helped with the dishes.

I don't know if you have noticed, but there is a new tab up there below the header: my 365 project
It is a challenge I have set myself for 2014: to take a photo a day. So far I'm simply posting them in there; eventually I would like to figure out a way to group them together somehow, probably according to month - I'll have to find a way to do it.
Today I thought I would share with you the progress I have made so far. I'm pleased to let you know that there are 12 photos on January 12 - they may not all have been taken on the actual day, but I will never tell.

1. Lily came into our family on Christmas eve. I'm obsessed with her and take a lot of pictures.
2. Blossoming hazel in our back yard.
3. Snowy, my best friend.

1. Another Lily picture.
2. Sunset in our front yard.
3. A frosty morning.

1. A lot of finches and 2 pheasants (only 1 seen in this pic).
2. Relaxing by the fire.
3. How I Met Your Mother marathon with Lily in bed.

1. I've had enough Buckley's for a lifetime. That stuff is vile.
2. Dishwasher Lily.
3. Breakfast of champions! I love cinnamon buns.

I hope you have some sweetness in your day today. :-)

Love, Miriam

I struggled to find other bloggers doing a P365 last year when I did mine but it seems there are quite a few going about this year.
I look forward to following you and all the animals through the year.

  3. Yes, pretty small, around 25 pounds. Corgis have a similar body type to Dachshunds, long with short legs, but sturdier.
