Friday, we meet again! Even though it's quite often not really my Friday (shift worker over here), there is something uplifting about it. People have a new spring in their step, they talk about going out and having glasses of wine, and everybody is in a good mood.
The world would be a better place if the week had two Fridays in it, wouldn't it?
It would also be a better world if we could see it through the lens of Elena Shumilova. She is a mother of two from Russia and the most talented photographer I have come across in a while. The link to this article is floating around Facebook, and I simply have to share a few of her brilliant photos.
They make you feel like you have stepped back in time, to a world that's simpler than the one we live in now.
To me they are the most beautiful photos ever! If you want to see more you can check out her Flickr account.
The more I delve into photography, the more I fall in love with it. People like Elena Shumilova are basically magicians to me: They can turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. What a gift it is to her two kids to record their childhood in such a way!
Photos like these are such an inspiration. They make me feel happy, hopeful and thrilled all at once!
I want to learn more, discover secrets, make beauty myself. Turn little moments into something special. Find beauty everywhere!
I wish you all a fabulous Friday!
I always love looking other people's photography and these photos are simple but are so SO beautiful! :) Thank you for sharing! It would be better if the week had two Saturdays too! haha
ReplyDeleteTrue that! I always felt that a 3-day workweek/4-day weekend would be the way to go.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
