City trip

Last week Rich and I ventured into the city. I think I've mentioned it before, but we don't do that very often. And that's a-okay with us - we are country bumpkins through and through!

This time we had to go for Richard's work, and also to fill up some homemade wine. We have been with the same winemakers forever, and because we are loyal people and like them, we still bring our business all the way over the bridge.

Isn't it a pretty bridge? I didn't mind one bit to leave the country behind for a few hours! Vancouver looks stunning in the sunlight.

That's what we are talking about: snowcapped mountains by the ocean.

I had to snap some photos of the local wildlife, obviously. So many pigeons!

There's a little anecdote about this place: Apparently, there used to be a guy who would come here, catch 50 or so wild pigeons and sell them at the animal auction. Entrepreneurial or dubious? You decide.

xoxo Miriam

    1. I hope the sun will come out for you asap! We had been blessed with wonderful weather for a while, but as of today it's back to grey skies and RAIN. Lots and lots of rain. Boo. Maybe the sun moved on to Sweden? I hope so!
      Have a good week!
