I love mornings. The quiet, the promise of the new day, the light - everything looks fresh and full of possibilities! And of course - coffee♥.
Unless you wake up late and have to rush around, that's the worst.
Here are a few pictures taken with my phone from the last couple mornings:
It just depends! I have a hard time getting up when it is a work day but if we are on vacation they I want to be up to see and do it all. I also like how clean and quite the city feels early in the morning.
Work mornings are definitely not as enjoyable. However, my work day regularly starts at 4 pm, so I have all the time in the world for morning stuff. :-) And your man loves mornings, too! Just read your - or should I say his? - post. What a neat coincidence!
I don't have early wakeups so I don't mind them. Even when I woke up early though, I didn't really mind them. I don't think I'm a morning OR a night person actually! Doggy in sunshine is my favorite! :)
I like lazy mornings when I can enjoy my breakfast and coffee, maybe get a workout in around midmorning and slowly get on with my day. But, most of the week, I am more of a mid-day/early evening kind of girl.
Getting up before 7? That is very uncivilized. Especially when you're up late at night. There is something to be said for staying up late: you can have wine instead of coffee, the house is quiet again, and you can turn on twinkly lights! Definitely magical as well. :-)
Love the mornings, too! You should check out Tammy Strobel's blog Rowdy Kittens. She is coming out with a photography book called My Morning View soon. Read about it here: http://www.rowdykittens.com/writing/
I absolutely hate getting up in the mornings but I enjoy it once I am up.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I like mornings as long as I get to sleep until 7. If I have to get up before that, I'm whiny.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a night owl though. I get a second burst of energy when it's time to go to bed.
