It doesn't rain in blogland

It doesn't rain in blogland. Have you ever noticed that? The vast majority of photos you see on blogs is taken in sunny - or at least dry - conditions, creating the sense that rain doesn't exist.
I'm sure there is a multitude of reasons: The light, you don't have to worry about your camera getting wet, rain is depressing enough without documenting it and thus creating an eternal reminder.

However, in the real world it does exist, particularly when you live on the west coast of BC.
I'm no fan of rain, but we had to find a way to get along. Living on a farm means spending time outside every single day, rain or shine.

It helps to focus on the friends that actually enjoy these weather conditions. One man's trash is another man's treasure, as they say!

The ducks love it.
And the geese of course too.
So does Nina - nothing gets this happy dog down.
 The corgi? Not so much.
"What's wrong with her? Rain is awesome."
Finding sunniness even on a grey day
Rain or no rain, it decidedly feels like spring. One sign is that the animals are getting frisky, like these roosters here.
Fighting for the ladies, who are more interested in their food than the nonsense of their guys.

The best thing about rainy days? Cozying up in front of the fire with a good book and my roomies.

Stay dry my friends!
