Ball dropper

So, I basically dropped the ball on Blogtober. Not that I'm really surprised - challenges have never been my strength. Be it 30-day fitness challenges, diets, bootcamp, yoga, writing, blogging - put any sort of restraint on me, and my inner teenage rebel comes out. Just when I thought I had outgrown it! ;-)

Instead of catching up on the prompts, I did a whole bunch of other little improvements on the blog:
I updated my AboutFarmlife, and Outfits pages. Take a look! My goal was to streamline this website better, and have various posts easier accessible. Currently I'm working on the "Musings" page, which will take me some time - it has the most posts on it, 120 of them!
I had to use html code, and showed that bad boy who's boss. I'm learning, slowly but surely, and it gets me all sorts of excited!

Apart from that, we enjoyed the (maybe, but hopefully not) last day of sunshine on an unseasonably warm day last Sunday. Instead of catching up on emails and blog reading (like I had planned), I decided to screw it and hung out with the hubby and dogs by the pond. It was delightful!

Hopefully I will manage to participate in Blogtober a couple more times - for example, tomorrow's prompt is pet peeves, and I can think of quite a few already!

See ya tomorrow!

  1. You know what? I think you did fine. These prompts are to help keep you blogging. I have yet to see you at a total loss for words and I mean that in a good way. And it's not like you were not productive. The changes look great!

  2. I love the updates you've done! And hey, if you only do a few prompts from Blogtober, you are still 100% counted as a participant! Like Mary said, these prompts are meant to keep you blogging - and your outside posts are just as interesting, if not more fun to read! Plus there's no prompt that says "photo bomb your post with pictures of your Corgi". So...no big deal :)

  3. I like it!! Yay, for diving into HTML. I've taken a few coding lessons lately too. I had to do a little to tweak the new web design. It is fun :) My about page is another one I need to tackle.

  5. Love the photos! I kind of dropped the ball as well although I knew I wouldn't be able to participate the whole time. I'm glad you got to do some updating on the blog and spend some time outdoors.
