Style: Fall fashion staples

Hi blogtober, I'm back! Today's prompt is right up my alley: fall fashion. Honestly, I could talk about my love for fall fashion all day, and I know I have on more than one occasion on this blog. So I will spare you today, and just say this: this is my absolute, ultimate favourite way to dress. Dress+boots+scarf+cozy knits? Yes, please! I'm such a girl sometimes.

After the red fiasco over the weekend, I went back to my hairdresser daughter for a change of colour
Husband was so relieved that the bright ginger was gone, he didn't even realize that I'm still a redhead - just darker and more auburn. Stef, you are a fricking genius! Ha, I totally win.
(Also, I promise that this is the last time you will have to hear about this issue!)

Do you see those milkmaid braids? Roxy had a tutorial up on her blog yesterday, and I am blown away by how easy to do this hairstyle is. Thanks Roxy!

Dress: ModCloth (not available any more, but this one is similar); sweater: Winners; tights: The Shoe Company); booties: Target (last year); scarf: DIY (gift); glasses: Joseph Marc from Clearly Contacts

What are your fall staples? Link up with Taylor and Helene!

  1. Cute dress!
I really want to learn how to knit again - I used to be able to all that stuff when I was little... I don't remember one stitch of it.

  2. JUST STOP ALREADY. Lol love the haircolor, love the hairstyle, love the scarf, love the sweater, love the tights, love the dogs. Seriously. On my last post about "painting the perfect picture" I should have just said "follow this link" to your blog hahaha. You're such an inspiration!

  5. Love it! I need to start wearing more tights. It's finally starting to get a bit colder here in LA. You look cute as ever! And sorry to hear about the hair debacle!

    1. It all ended well, and peace and happiness are restored. Thanks!
As much as I envy all you lucky people living down in the south, tights and scarves make living in a colder climate almost worth it. (Almost. If given the choice between warm weather year-round or tights, I'd choose warmer weather in a heartbeat!)
