For two days in a row, we had beautiful, spooky fog. The kind where you can still see the sun shining through, creating the most eerie, yet peaceful atmosphere. It makes you wish that you are not a muggle after all, but are getting that letter from Hogwarts any day now.
Don't ask me to see photos - it saddens me to say that I completely missed the boat on that one. I blame it on work and life, stealing precious fog-shooting opportunities.
I still had Harry Potter on my mind when I woke up on Wednesday. My hair was particularly bushy that day, due to a 24-hour braid followed by a day of a messy bun. A potent mixture!
Who else has bushy hair? Why, Hermione Granger of course! I decided to take Hermione as inspiration for this particular photo shoot. And you know what? I feel smarter already.
Hanging out with Crookshanks.
Always with her nose in books.
Practicing spells
Dress: ModCloth (no longer available) (similar); jacket: very old, bought it in Germany (similar); tights: Joe Fresh; boots: Target (similar); toque and scarf: gifts from friend (she knitted them herself!); gloves: gift (similar); glasses: Joseph Marc from Clearly Contacts
Yikes, those boots are dirty!
If only I knew a spell that cleans them.
Do you love Harry Potter? If you do, have you ever tried impersonating Hermione for a day? It's exhausting, those books are heavy! (Fun fact: The books I used as props are actual school books, left over from x-ray school.)
So freakin cute
ReplyDeleteLove this! Adorable really. I love Harry Potter too. I recently did a movie marathon and have had it on my mind. I think it is going to be time for a re-read soon!
