But, here it is: last week's highlights.
Friday, October 25th
Rich and I went to see Sarah Brightman in concert! It was a rare night out, and we enjoyed it tremendously.
Saturday, October 26th
We had a belated Thanksgiving/1-year anniversary for Denise and Steve/Halloween/early birthday for Stef-dinner at our house. We ate, drank, and laughed, and had a good time.
Sunday, October 27th
A picture-perfect day on the farm. They make me so happy!
Monday, October 28th
I did a little outfit photo shoot because the day was so nice. And I wanted to show off my new hat :-)
Tuesday, October 29th
This day was filled with the best surprise! I slept in, and as I was sipping my cup of coffee, Lea came over! I'm always happy to see that kid. She just had the chicken pox, poor thing, is feeling a lot better but still has all those rashy pockmarks. But nevertheless, we decided to check out a few cars that Rich had looked at a few days before. After three different test drives we decided on my long-held car obsession: a Ford Escape. I've always wanted one of those! Yay!!
Wednesday, October 30th
Thursday, October 31st
Halloween! Alas, I didn't really celebrate it this year. We were busy all day running around, doing errands and building a new stall for the sheep, so I was tired and went to bed at 9:30pm.
How was your week?

Chicken pox are the worst!
ReplyDeleteI am probably one of the only people that has never had the chicken pox and I fear catching it because I have heard horror stories about coming down with it as an adult. I've been told there is a vaccine to help prevent them, but that it is only for children.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid this is true... Lea actually had the chicken pox when she was very young, but she didn't get them very bad. This time around (she's 17) it was quite intense - not so much itchy (it's itching now because it's healing) but painful. I hope you'll never get it!
